.....Elysis, Aldrich & me @ Far East Plaza.....
And so, I brought them around in Orchard Road, to the hippest, fashionable Far East Plaza. Clothes, accessories, food were all charged to my account. The smiley faces on them is really priceless. Who says money cant buy happiness?? Estelle joined us shortly and we had hellaluva fun playing my favourite machines. Yup, neo print machines. Whahah!! The funny faces that we made, the amusing poses that we had, were really hilarious. Mum was waiting outside the shop for us and all she could hear was our never ending laughters. Aunt Zhen joined us for dinner at Ichiban Boshi where the kids enjoyed their sushi soooo much. I must say, both of them had changed alot since I last saw them in San Francisco 2 years back. oh, both of them had adverse personalities too!
Elysia, likes to have accessories all over her 2 arms, have her own kind of unique dressing, not too punk, not too rock. Something like Guns & Roses style. Oh, she has an eyebrow piercing on the tip of her right brow too! Aldrich, on the other hand, is just like a family man. He loves to shop in supermarket, likes to keep anything that he can put into his small Nintendo bag. Discount coupons from NTUC Fairprice, Cold Storage, flyers, can be found inside his tiny bag too. Can tell us so much about collecting 30 stamps in exchange of an iron, so aunty!! Thats why grandma, mum and all other aunties adore him so much, cos they have a common interest to share.
Now that they are back and my elder uncle will be back just in time for CNY, I can only say CNY this year will never be the same again. More lively, more gatherings, more house visiting, more cookings, more drinkings and definitely 1 more ang bao to collect. Simply cant wait for CNY to arrive cos I have my reunion dinner at home, 1st day of CNY OFF, 2nd day doing a BKK turn, 3rd day OFF, 4th day CAN turn, 5th day OFF, practically the whole week of CNY will be spent in town. What else can I ask for?? God has finally made my wish come true! Thank God!!
Cos I spent the whole Sunday with my cousies, shopping and trying out food, I was exhausted by the end of the day. Worst still, I had to report for Beijing flight the next day. Luckily the load wasnt full, but still it wasnt an easy flight to do. So the exhausted and lethargic me crashed my sleeping time when I checked into my hotel room. Imagine me after my shower, read newspapers, and crashed from 1700hr to the next dat 1200hr. Yup, a whole 17 hrs rest!! It was so amazing. Its been a long time since I slept that long. The weather in Beijing, -6 degrees celcius, is way too cold for me to step out of my comfy bed. So I just fully utilised my time to catch up on my beauty sleep, which I needed it so badly.
The other day, I met Qi Yu Wu at the airport. Was shocked when I saw him, while waiting for Kris. He looked so cool even though with his big brown shades. Guess he's on his way back to Canton. Would love to see him on board again, if he's on my flight on 21st Feb. Kekez..
