Flashback of 2006

The turkey inside me had already digested long time ago. The countdown spirits and alcohol had already been flushed out too. Time to recap about the past before I kick start to a brand new year again!

Went for a 4D3N BKK holiday with Sista Joanne, where we shop till we drop. Relying only on our map and asking the locals for directions, going to places where we wanted to go. Cover most of the places though, but a pity that we didnt visit the clubs cos Sista enjoy massage than to party. Too bad.. Started my long awaited part-time degree course - Logistics and Transportation Management, with RMIT under a private school Alberton Management. Get to know a new bunch of lovely classmates who helped me alot in my studies. (Thanks guys!!) Departed for Paris one day before CNY eve and spent my "wonderful" CNY with the french. Missed home terribly moreover I was terribly sick with flu, cough and ear blocked. Haiz.. And also, FIRST time went out with my "french bf" Patrick, who treated me to a sumptuous 4 meal course french cuisine. Yummy~~

Valentines' Day was well spent oversea at Melbourne with Vivi's ex-teammies at Crown Casino hotel club. Cool.. March was my favourite month cos it was my Bdae!! Had a string of 10 bdae celebrations with all my family, relatives and friends. FIRST time I spent my bdae outstation with my bestest teammies. Though the weather in Amsterdam was very cold, but the love and warmth I received from my teammies was overwhelming.

2nd quarter of the year, I flew to Johannesburg. My FIRST time step foot into the wildlife safari land. Saw many animals which I dont know the names. Then, it was Grandma's 80th bdae at Carlton hotel where we had a big feast of cantonese cuisine. Healthy Lifestyle Club was set up officially where we do some cycling and rollerblading at ECP.

Cousie Estelle's wedding made the family bond kept closer and stronger. Everyone in the family was busy with the preparation and I was honoured to be the bridesmaid. And also named "The Best Cousin of The Year" award, bestowed by Estelle. Whahah!! However, lost my handphone in the cab the following day after I heard Italy emerged champions at the World Cup '06. The long, painstaking planning of our 6D5N trip to Taiwan was finally fulfilled, though with 2 additional members who were not supposed to be in our itinerary. Had tonnes of fun there eat, play, shop, club, KTV and saw 6 celebrities during our trip. It definitely made our 16 years of friendship stronger and made others jealous of our close bond.

Bid my best teammies goodbye with our last flight to Osaka-Bangkok. Still miss flying with them though cos we had so much fun-loving memories together. Got my Class 3 driving license finally after a couple of attempts! Yeah!! Finally get the chance to fly Rome, Italy, after flying for the past 2.5 years. FIRST time there and I visited quite a few places of interest and the view was really breathtaking. (When can I ever go back to Rome again??) FIRST time did a 3 days TPE flight and my standby outstation got activated to fly a HKG turn. FIRST time hit the nightspot with Bro outstation, cos he happened to be there for his flairing competitions. Shortly, Xmas season arrived but didnt really enjoy my Xmas cos I was sick for more than 2 weeks. My flu continued to carry forward to this year, and Im still blowing my nose while typing this post. (Excuse me, please..)

Not going to make any fanciful new year resolution this year, but juz hope that I can clear my studies smoothly and get my hard earned degree soon. Very soon lah, waiting for this year's Xmas only. Whahah!!

The aftermath of the extraction of Mr. Wisdom left the right side of my face abit swollen, and felt abit uncomfortable. Its not really that scary afterall since I can speak clearly now and still take semi-liquid diet. Gosh, Im quite amazed by the speed of my recovery!!
