Serene's 23rd Bdae bash

I woke up this morning, feeling uncomfortable on my right cheek. The swell had subsided a little bit, but my face still looked "chubby". Managed to grab a bite of my small mini red bean bun, but had a hard time chewing. Was in a rush of time to go back to school for enrolment. Will be taking 3 modules this semester - Transport Econs, Transport Mgt and Advanced Supply Chain Mgt. Gosh! I have absolutely no idea how am I going to cope for this sem. Seriously, I have no clue. 2 modules per sem had already made me breathless, not to mention 3 this time round. Well, I just want to complete everything by this end of the year and get my certificate with the rest of my classmates. Too bad, Chicky Little's not going to graduate together with me. He will complete his studies 1 sem earlier than me. Well, all the best to you, dude!!

I created a few "wahhh" when I was in school. The staff had a hard time cos I paid my school fees in hard cash. A stack of 111 bills of 50 dollars notes, which amounted to 5550 bucks. The way I tied the notes into bundles, it was as if I was a part-time loanshark. Wahaha!! I really didnt mean to let the staff had a hard time counting, cos I couldnt get to the bank in time to ask for a cheque. But then, it was really exciting carrying so much money with u. Shiok!!

Went down town to meet bestie for shopping. I only accompanied her as an escort cos I really got nothing to buy. Already spent a bomb in my school which makes me all the more, got no mood to shop. For the start of the new year, and also because we had a new hairstyle, both of us went to take neoprints.

Somehow or rather, I had lost the joy and excitement in taking neoprints. Not like last time so FANATIC!! Maybe, I have grown up. Kekez.. Well, people do grow up one day, isnt it??

Pop by bestie's place for awhile, before we head over to Serene's 23rd Bdae bash!! This year's theme for the 5 of us is DIY! Instead of going out somewhere to celebrate, this year we have decided to hold it at home. Dinner at Serene's place was steamboat and a few simple dishes, all prepared by the bdae gal and her bf. Chit-chat for awhile and we pop the champagne and had Mango cake from Rive Gauche bakery. The funniest part is, SX overturned a tub of popcorn, which apparently "pop" louder than my champagne!! Whahah.. Cam-whoring time again with our cameras, handphones and my latest toy, Polaroid!! Had a few very funny shots and poses, cheoreographed by Missy B!! Wats the point of taking the same old smile, with the same old pose?? Not funky enough, I say!!

We ended the splendid day, singing at KBox Hougang Mall with Ailing and Ailuan, whereas YM Baby and Sandy gal went back home to rest. They had a long long day at work, we understand.

Im really glad that I had this bunch of gals with me, sharing our woes together. 17 years of friendship since Primary School sounds sooooo long. Though we have our difference, but we cherished the times spent together. Cant wait to see them on our monthly gals' gathering everytime!! In fact, we are looking forward to the day we celebrate our 2 decades of friendship. Can never imagine how my days will be like without you bunch of gals by my side.
