After what I went through last night, it only DOUBLE CONFIRMED that I can never go into sales line and push my items for high sales records. Being a promoter not only must have good product knowledge, but also good choice of words, lotsa patience, smiles at all times, tolerate and most important factor,
THICK-SKINNED as thick as elephant!! Cant deny that the pay and commission is attractive, but I would rather be the buyer than the seller.
Oh, last night also witnessed how some caucasians can be so ugly, calculative, demanding, ridicious irritating and
kian beng. They kicked a big fuss and created a big hoo-haa for the poor waitress, over just a few dollars. Apparently, the beer promoters told an ang moh that the promotion for beer is 1 for 12 bucks and 5 for 30 bucks because of 50 percent discount. So the ang moh ordered a bucket. And when the bill came, he refused to pay. Just because the promoter didnt said it comes with +++ service charge, tax and GST, the ang moh refused to pay the taxes and demanded for a refund when the bottles were already opened. Hello, did the promoters said its 30 bucks NETT?? Nope, she didnt. Which restaurant you go to dont have to pay tax?? Thought our country came out the GERMS and "Excellent Service Begins With Me" campaign?? So how can we give good service when we meet not-so-nice customers like them? To think that they come from a gracious country and the worst thing is, I overheard from the bosses that they are captains from some airlines. CAPTAIN somemore, what a disgrace!! Now I know why some of my colleagues dont like to serve the cockpit, because sometimes, they can really be a pain in the arse!!
Chilled out at Chijmes with some friends before I headed down to MOS. Crowd was packed as usual. Queue was no longer as long as last time, with so many competitors lined up at The Cannery. So lucky to see my God-Sis there, hanging out with her friends. (Suddenly, I miss Mama so much.) Oh, saw Mia too when she was about to leave. Okie, I used to have not-so-good impression of her last time during our pageant. Still couldnt figure out why she managed to get a title. Well, history aside. But after reading through her blog and the battle of tongue waggings debate between she and XiaXue, I have to say, she does have a flair in writing. She's smart, controversial, has good command of English and a flair in her speech too! Compared to XiaXue, her writing is smoother and leads you wanna continue reading till the last word. Defnitely not the typical bimbo pageant queen that you see.
First time drove an auto car and sent my friend back home, who was so drunk. Okie, not drunk but extremely
high. Its so much easier to drive auto car but of course manual car has got better control and gauge.
Had a talk with Dr Shah and Janet about my appeal for my PMM module. All I asked for was him to review my paper again and that's it. Yesh, I know I did badly for the paper, thats why I appeal!! No second chance was given and I received a full
"lecture" instead. To make things worst, Janet added salt and pepper and he was influenced too. Damned it!! Throughout the 20 minutes session, I only had the chance to speak 2 sentences. "Fail means fail" was what I got at the end of the session.
Thank You ar..
