Whenever I fly to Amsterdam, its inevitable that I have to meet up with my 2nd uncle and family and pass them the drystores that they requested. Same goes for this time.
3/4 of my cargo bag is packed with all their stuffs like mushroom, curry powder, curry leaves, white fungus, MSG, incense, sour plum, etc. The moment I opened up my bag, Im welcomed by the strong pungent smell of vegetarian curry powder. Wah raoz, I think my jacket kena the smell also. =(
Uncle Desmond and Aunty Grace came to pick me up from the hotel while I was playing my latest DS game. (Oh yah, my DS Lite game set is my 1st bdae present courtesy from the girls. Hehe. )
We then proceed to Dan Hague where they bought more drystores from a vegetarian provision shop. The way you see them shop for food, its as if Great Singapore Sales is approaching. Or rather war is coming and they are stalking up their goods in their house in case of femine. Whaha.
Journey from Amsterdam to Rotterdam is a short 40 minutes drive. Instead of resting I continued playing my DS game. Gosh, I think Im addicted to it. Whaha.
Met up with cousie Isabel who met us at a dim sum restaurant and we had our lunch.
Aunty Grace then brought me shopping while Uncle Desmond left for work. Maybe fatigue is setting in or perhaps I lost the interest in shopping. I did not buy anything at all other than mixed nuts and dried fruits. Go all the way to Rotterdam, just to buy nuts. I think Im really nuts! Whaha.
Aunty Grace prepared a simple dinner at home. But I was so tired that I fell asleep till Uncle Desmond came back from work at midnight. And so, my dinner became supper instead. Hehe.
Going out soon to Rotterdam centrum. For more shopping before I take the train back to Amsterdam. From the train station, its another 30 minutes walk before I reach back my hotel. Oh no, its the long lonely walk again. I hate the weather! Bloody 4 degrees celcius froze my ears even with my mufflers on.
4 more days away from 20 March.
Im sooooooooooooo looking forward to it.
Oh yeah~
