Despite waking up damn early this morning, Im happy that I attended their church wedding. Because I met someone who watched me grow up, in terms of age, faith and belief. And hearing him said those beautiful words during the gospel, rekindled my heart.

Yup, that familiar guy was Rev Fr Francis Lee.

During the mass, he said something so memorable yet unforgettable.

Love does not see you through a successful marriage. Its the trust, belief and mutual understanding that guide you through.

Do not take each other for granted. You join your right hands together when you say your vow before God, so live your life together as one.

Keep your communication going. You talk, and talk, and continue talking.

Share your joy and laughters, happiness and sadness, success and failure with one another. Just like you both promise to be true to one another in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health and promise to love and honour one another all the days of your life.

To my cousin Wilton and the new member to my big family cousin-in-law Joann, here's wishing you both all the best and may the Holy Spirit of God fill your hearts with endless love and joy always. Cheers!!
