Collected keys from the developer before we proceed to our block. Prior to that, went to the provision shop at our neighbourhood to get the necessities for the ceremony.
It was raining super heavily this morning. Even though sheltered by umbrella, half of my body was drenched and my pump soaked in rain water. Nevermind. Water = Wealth Hehe..
Followed instructions set by the seniors, I threw 1 Ong Lye at our house plate and shouted "HUAT AR" extremely loud. The Ong Lye dropped on the floor and Goose used the same one to roll into our house and again we shouted "HUAT AR". Tv console area is our HUAT HUAT place now cos the Ong Lye landed there near the wall.
AWESOME view of the MacRitchie welcomed us as we walked towards our balcony. Uber windy. Can see City View from our balcony too. Hello sista and baby Ashton!! Godma can see you from afar!! Oh, hello Fiona + Angus cos we can also see the block of your aquarium shop too!
Scattered the bag of rice + salt, followed by green beans for prosperous wealth and sowing of many offerings.
Placed the 5 different fruits + HUAT Kueh + Tea Leaves(almost forgotten) + Ang Bao in the middle of the living room as instructed.
Goose was checking on the physical defects and all the manual work while I was busy taking photos of our new place.
Went to Junction 8 for lunch before we proceed back for round 2 of inspections.
Alot of things need to be done. We know the usual chips, paint and scratches are norm. But what we cant accept is the loose flooring in all the 3 bedrooms and poor finishing. Seriously need to speak to the developer again.
Thank you Goose for doing all the hard work while I was acting like an indian chief, sat at the bay window and giving instructions. Hehe.. Love you!!
Looking at our house makes us 2 happy souls. A place where we will build many great memories together in future. A place where we finally called HOME :)
